Due to construction works of the Eastern Highway section, from May 22, there will be changes in the routes and traffic schedules of trolleybuses No. 13, 16, 17 and bus No. 48
“Rīgas satiksme” informs that due to the 1st stage of construction works of the section of the Eastern Highway “Ieriķu Street - Vietalvas Street”, from Saturday, May 22, there will be changes in the routes and traffic schedules of trolleybuses No. 13, 16, 17 and bus No. 48. The stop "Stārķu Street" will be temporarily closed.
From May 22, 2021, due to changes in traffic organisation in Gustava Zemgala gatve, trolleybus route No. 13, 16, 17 and bus route No. 48 will run in two directions along Vaidavas Street. The indicated routes in the direction of the final stops “Ieriķu Street”, “Pļavnieki”, “Purvciems” and “Pļavnieku cemetery” will run along the route to Kastrānes Street, further along Kastrānes Street, Vaidavas Street, Dzelzavas Street and further will continue to run along the route.
Due to the above-mentioned, the public transport stop “Stārķu Street” (in Gustava Zemgala gatve) will be closed. Whereas, the stop “Ūnijas Street” (in Kastrānes Street) will be moved to Vaidavas Street (after the intersection with Ieriķu Street).
We would like to inform you that for the said routes, the departure time from the final stops indicated in the traffic schedules will not change, but there will be slight changes in the departure time from separate stops.
